The exposure of Gordon Brown as a CRASS plugger of CRASSRAIL hole plot came far faster than even I had observed!

Now, I really think that Alistair Darling must do the decent thing and NOT ADD to his liabilities over CRASSrail when he finally manages to deliver a face-saving ‘financial’ scenario on Tuesday 9 October 2007.

On Friday I asked the question “Will Alistair Darling be able to cure the sickness of Crassrail lies that made Gordon Brown look sickened on Tuesday?” [see the contents of my post on 5 October 2007 reproduced below].

Now I am saying that as Gordon Brown has admitted to being EVEN Sicker than I had diagnosed, it would be extremely ill-advised of Darling to go into any more idiotic detail in plugging the CRASSrail pot.

He should keep the CRASSrail promotion to such limited extents that no reasonable use can later be made of his statement [due on Tuesday] in evidence against him should he actually be used for his parts so far in promoting the CRASSrail plan.

Gordon Brown’s confession that ‘dealing with financial crises’ [ see the BBC’s over-hyped Andrew Maar interview, due for broadcast in 7 hours fro now] has been one of the factors persuading him to NOT call a snap general election in Britain now, should serve as a clear indication to Darling that FINACIAL irresponsibility will come back to haunt hi.

The ‘package’ that they peddled about Crossrail throughout the past week and culminated on Friday, is a CRASS package. It is forced, unspontaneous and was flogged via the media stunt on Friday [2 days ago] for specific, rich-punters-linked electoral purposes [ones that have now vanished!], NOT for economic ones. NOT for UK macro economic benefits. This assessment pubs in less than 12 hours [in Ross Clark’s piece written during the day on Friday and published in the Times on Saturday 6 October 2007] after Brown mouthed the Ken Livingstone lies for Crassrail, must give Alistair Darling serious pause for thought. He must scrap the CRASSrail hole scheme now.

So CROSSRAIL is, in effect exposed as unjustifiable by its crass promoters themselves.

It should never have been plugged or peddled.

Time now for CRASSrail to be scrapped.

This is what I have told the Times newspaper web site this morning, in response to their latest significantly remarkable assessment of Gordon Brown’s use of Crossrail as an electoral too:

"On Gordon Brown's stunt on Crossrail, you say: "the final go-ahead for the long delayed Crossrail scheme – so important to those southeast marginal seats (tick);" ! You do not say anything about Crossrail being about addressing any transport needs, far less about brining in £60 Billion worth of benefits over Decades! Those are only two of the claims made in the last few weeks by the pluggers of this seriously flawed and unsuitable scheme. And Gordon Brown himself had resisted Crossrail for most of the 10 years that he was the UK finance Minister. So what was it that caused him to claim last Tuesday that he [and his transport fronter Ruth Kelly] had been working day and night to put together a finance package for the same unjustifiable scheme? It could only have been his now exploded plot to call a snap poll. Your description again shows that Crossrail was never part of addressing the transport needs of the economy, either in London or in the rest of the UK. A genuine one now must be found.

Crassness at the centre of the flawed Big Business London Crossrail scam continues to be exposed - the Muhammad Haque daily world commentary

The crassness in the confection of the present CrossRail scam is exposed by the minute. And the pace of revelations has got even faster after the corrupt contrivance between the Big Business tout ‘Undone mayor’ Ken Livingstone – fronted on this by a sickened-looking Prime Minister Gordon Brown in the City of London [Tuesday 2 October 2007]- and the City of London mob.

More disclosures of the opportunistic ‘deal’ are expected in the next hours, days weeks and beyond.

And many of those disclosures are going to be made after today's rushed statement by Alistair Darling has been delivered.

I shall have a good deal more to say about Darling himself on the CRASSrail project, after he has done his speech making as scheduled to take place during today.

Darling is unlikely to make a speech that can restore Gordon Brown to any position where he could ever again claim to be ‘prudent’, whether or not his original claim to being the prudent occupant of the office of UK Finance Minister was justifiable in the long run.

And this view is gaining evidential ground following his capitulation to the programme of egotistic self-promotion by Ken Livingstone on the one hand and Livingstone's Big Business mentors on the other over CRASSrail.

Far from it being an objectively justifiable optimum economic decision measuring the demand, supply and productivity in the context of the ordinary population and its capacity, the ‘deal’ has been as corrupt, uneconomic and wasteful one as could be imagined.

It will be, as I have said all along, a source of huge waste of public resource.

For a start, Gordon Brown was placed into a lying position [or trap] in his speech on Tuesday 2 October 2007 when he made a claim – and physical looked sick, uncomfortable as he made it – that the CRASSrail plot would be given the go ahead after cuts were made on other public expenditure areas.

What he did not tell his audience mainly made up of the City of London mob was that he had conceded central Govt funding aid to the very City which he was claiming would make a ‘contribution’ to the costs construction of the CRASSrail project.

That kind of lying will not do Gordon Brown's career or his image as a 'not-Blair’ incumbent at No 10 Downing Street any good at all.

Worse, it will not do the UK economy any favours either.

So how did Gordon Brown find himself as appearing to be Ken Lyingstill Livingstone's agent talking to the City of London mob on that one?
